hak is an offline flashcard app for learning Japanese, Korean, and Chinese vocabulary. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.
hak does not collect, store, or share any personal data. The app does not require an account or login, and it has no analytics, advertising, or tracking.

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it using the app's backup feature.
The following features run entirely on your device and do not send any data to our servers:
hak is designed to work completely offline. The only network activity is the one-time download of handwriting recognition models from Google when you first enable that feature.
The app does not include any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
The app includes a backup feature that lets you export your progress to a file you choose, and restore it later. Backup files are written to and read from locations you select — they are never uploaded anywhere by the app.
The app does not knowingly collect any data from children or any other users.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
